On November 1, 2026 we open a service center in Prescott. You will be able to bring a computer to the counter, hear a flat price before you hand it over, and pick it up cleaner than you dropped it off. In-home visits carry on exactly as they always have.

Whatever the repair is and whatever tier it lands in, a computer checked in at the Tek Shop will get four things at no extra charge.

That is the concierge half of Home Tech Concierge, delivered as a service rather than a slogan. You will get the machine back working, clean inside and out, scanned, and with a short written note about what we would keep an eye on next.
Tek Counter work is the one exception. Those jobs are finished while you wait and never get checked in, so there is no bench pass to give them.

The tier is set by what the job needs, not by how long it takes. A stubborn Tek Core repair that stretches into a second day still bills at Tek Core. That is what a flat rate is for.

Parts are billed on top of the labor price. We order and supply them, and you see the number before we order anything. We buy the parts and resell them, so the price we quote you includes our markup on the part.

The same technicians do both, and neither one is the budget version of the other. They are two ways to buy the same work: by the hour where you are, or at a fixed price at the bench.
At your home
$160/hour
1-hour minimum, unchanged
We come to you across Prescott, Prescott Valley, Chino Valley and Dewey-Humboldt, the Quad Cities of northern Arizona, with no trip fee and no diagnostic fee. This is the one to pick when the problem lives in the house rather than in a single machine, like WiFi that only drops in the back bedroom, or a printer nobody can reach.

Flat rate, priced by the job
You will hand us the machine and hear the number before you leave. This is the one to pick when the work sits inside one computer and you would rather know the total up front, like a clean reinstall, or a drive swap with your files moved across.
New hardware
Computers, ordered to suit the person using them
We order computers to suit the person who will use them, rather than stocking whatever shipped in volume. You tell us what the machine is for and what you want to spend, we tell you what it actually needs, and we order it.
When it arrives, setup and data migration will happen at the shop as Tek Core labor, $240, and you collect a computer with your files and your programs already on it. Hardware is quoted before anything is ordered, same as parts.
There is no shelf of boxes to browse. A few stocked systems are likely once we have been open a while, and this page will say so when that day comes.
Learning, not just fixing
Training at the Tek Shop
Free group sessions at the shop, once we are open. Short, practical sessions on the things people actually ask us about, like spotting a scam email or getting photos off a phone. We will post dates here once they are scheduled.
One-on-one training runs at our standard hourly rate with a 30-minute minimum. At the shop that works out to $80 for the first half hour. In your home, training is an ordinary visit: $160 an hour with the usual 1-hour minimum.

With a OneStop Ultimate membership, in-shop labor on the enrolled device is included at Tek Counter, Tek Standard, Tek Core and Tek Advanced.
Parts, liquid damage, screens, board-level work, physical data recovery and new-computer setup are not included unless we have written that they are.

Questions about the Tek Shop
What do I do with the old computer?
Leave it with us. Recycling it costs nothing, and we hand it to a local recycler rather than a skip. If you want the drive wiped first, that is Tek Counter, $40, and you get a verified wipe rather than a promise. When a drive is too far gone to wipe and verify, we destroy it instead.
How long will my repair take?
Counter work is under 15 minutes, while you wait. A repair that needs no ordered parts is usually ready in 1 to 2 days. Under a week when a part has to be ordered. We call you when it is ready, and we call you sooner if anything would change the price.
Do I need an appointment?
You will not. Once we open you can bring it in any time during business hours: Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm. Calling first will still be useful, because we can usually tell you on the phone whether it is a quick counter fix or a job that needs to stay with us.
What does it cost?

We tell you early, while the money is still yours to spend elsewhere. Then we can talk about what to replace it with and what it would take to move your files across. We order computers to suit the person who will use them, rather than stocking whatever shipped in volume.
Do you keep my data?
Your data goes back on your machine. When a repair means moving it, like a drive replacement or a clean reinstall, the transfer is part of the job and you get the computer back with your files on it. We do not keep your passwords, and nothing is erased until you have told us to go ahead.
Can you come to me instead?
Yes, and nothing about that has changed. In-home visits are $160 an hour with a 1-hour minimum across Prescott, Prescott Valley, Chino Valley and Dewey-Humboldt. Some problems belong at a house, like WiFi that only drops in one room. Others belong on a bench. Describe it on the phone and we will say which.
Do you work on Macs?
Yes. Macs and Windows PCs both, at the same four flat prices. Laptop screen replacement is Tek Core on either platform, and board-level work is Tek Advanced.
