What it costs. Before we start.
Two ways to pay: by the hour in your home, or one flat price at the Tek Shop, opening November 1, 2026. No trip fee, no diagnostic fee, no bench fee, and a membership that makes most calls free.

Opening November 1, 2026
Flat prices at the Tek Shop
In your home, you pay by the hour. At the Tek Shop, the job will carry one flat price, so you'll know the number before you hand the machine over. The same technicians do the work either way, and you'll pick whichever fits the job.
Opening November 1, 2026 at 3741 Karicio Ln, Ste 2, Prescott, AZ 86303, with the same hours as the rest of TekStop: Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm.
The concierge check-in, included
Whatever the tier, every job we check in will get all of this at no extra charge:
- Dust blown out of the inside of the machine
- The outside wiped down and cleaned
- A malware scan
- System health recommendations, written down for you
Tek Counter work is finished while you wait and never gets checked in, so it's the one tier without the pass.

How the tier is set
By what the job needs rather than by how long it takes. A stubborn Tek Core job that runs long still bills at Tek Core, and that is what a flat price is for.
Parts
Parts are billed on top of the labor price. We order and supply them, and you see the number before we order anything. The price we quote for a part includes our markup.
Fees
No diagnostic fee and no bench fee, in the shop or at your house, and no trip fee on in-home work. The flat price is the labor price.
How long it takes
- At the counterUnder 15 minutes, while you wait
- Repairs with nothing to order1 to 2 days
Under a week when a part has to be ordered.
If you're a OneStop member
- Standard: 10% off shop labor at every Tek tier.
- Plus: 20% off shop labor at every Tek tier.
- Ultimate: Shop labor included on the enrolled device. Parts, liquid damage, screens, board-level work, physical data recovery and new-computer setup are not included unless we have written that they are.
The Tek Shop will handle home computers. Business and commercial machines go to our sister brand, Sentry CTO.
The alternative to paying by the hour
Three membership levels, and what each one covers
Those are the rates without a membership. OneStop changes the math: all three levels include unlimited remote and phone support, so calling stops being a decision, and the higher two keep working on your computers between calls.
- Included in every level
Unlimited help, on every level
Every membership includes unlimited remote and phone support. Non-members pay from $80 per remote fix. A couple of small problems and one house call a year already costs more than Standard's $399. Members just call, so little problems get fixed while they're still little.
- Plus & Ultimate
Professional monitoring and protection
Plus puts business-grade tools on each covered computer: managed anti-malware (EDR), Windows patching, and monitoring that alerts us to failing drives and brewing errors. Comparable consumer security subscriptions alone run several dollars a month per computer, and none of them come with a technician who acts on the alerts.
- Ultimate only
A 24/7 security team you can't buy in stores
Ultimate adds DNS filtering that blocks bad sites before they load, and managed detection and response: real analysts watching your computers around the clock and stepping in the moment something looks wrong. This is enterprise security service, the kind households are almost never offered, at any price.
Standard pays for itself the first time you call without thinking twice about the cost. Plus and Ultimate pay for themselves in a different currency: the problems that never happen, and the months you never think about your computer. The section below puts real numbers on the first half of that.
The same visit, three ways
A typical two-hour house call
It's the same visit and the same technician doing the same work. The only thing that changes is whether there's a membership behind it.
- Without membership $320
- OneStop Standard $288 10% off, and the phone call that scheduled it was free
- OneStop Plus & Ultimate $256 20% off, an effective $128/hr on this visit and every one after
The shortcut
Most of this page stops mattering when you're a member
Unlimited remote and phone help from $35/month, visits at 10–20% off, and on Plus and Ultimate, the maintenance that prevents half the calls in the first place.
Billing, plainly
Why does the clock start at dispatch?
It's how we cover travel without a trip fee: you pay for your technician's time from the moment they head your way (one direction only, never the drive back). For most of Prescott that's a few minutes; we tell you up front either way.
Is there a diagnostic fee?
No. Diagnosis is part of the visit or remote session, on the same clock as everything else. If we can tell in ten minutes that a repair is not worth it, you pay for ten minutes of honesty. The Tek Shop will work the same way: no diagnostic fee, and no bench fee for the days your machine spends with us.
Should I bring it in or have you come out?
Whichever suits you, once the Tek Shop opens on November 1, 2026. Anything tied to the house stays at the house: WiFi, printers, TVs, smart home gear, a desktop you'd rather not unplug. Work that has to sit on a bench, like a malware cleanup or an operating system repair, will be easier to plan around at one flat price. Describe the problem on the phone and we'll tell you which way we'd go.
What does after-hours actually mean?
Outside Monday–Friday 8am–5pm. Calls then reach an emergency option billed at double the standard rate ($320/hour). In practice this is rare. Most clients call the next morning.
How does membership billing work?
12-month term, billed monthly or yearly; paying yearly saves 5%. Renews automatically each year. We start sending renewal reminders 60 days ahead, and ask for 30 days' written notice to cancel before renewal.
Do prices differ by city?
No. Same rate everywhere we drive. The only variable is dispatch time, which is why we triage remotely first for our farthest clients in Dewey-Humboldt and Chino Valley.
